Training and Accreditation

 

 

As part of my love of wool, I decided to do online training with The Woolmark Company

Courses completed:

• Wool Appreciation Course
• Sustainability and Wool Course

The courses covered many aspects of the wool industry from sheep breeds, the making of product, dyeing processes, finish of product, environmental impact and much much more and it really gave me a more thorough understanding of the industry.

 More importantly is the sustainability side of the whole industry that appealed to me and how we as a whole can make a difference.  My love of pure wool (not chemically treated) is still a huge focus for our business.  We will continue to educate people on the benefits of using pure wool from the qualities, longevity, reuseability, and environmental impacts it holds.

Of course there is a need and want for wool that has been chemically treated so that garments can be washed easily, also for those that can't wear pure wool next to their skin.  All wool is useful, reusable and wonderful outfits will continue to be made with all wool produced.
